Hogan

One of my favorite equine models died this past weekend.

Hogan was a 16 hand Tennessee walker.  He spent many years on the Tennessee Walker show circuit and had retired to be the personal horse of one of the staff members of H.E.A.R.T.s Astride.

When he could no longer be ridden we used him as a good will ambassador.  He would stand quietly while kids groomed him. He was a very patient horse!

He will be greatly missed by many.

Below is my favorite picture taken of Hogan (far left) in the pasture at Germania stables. This was turned into a painting for framing.
